The Algerian legislator has paid attention to the child since independence.

This was evident through the various successive constitutions of the Algerian state, as it became clear through the various legal texts until the issuance of a special law on children in accordance with Law 15-12 of 15/07/2015, which provided for new guarantees and mechanisms for the protection of children.

The child according to the principle of the best interest of the child, within the preservation of the first cell in society, which is the family.
