The right to the image is one of the rights attached to the personality and one of the topics most related to the private life of a person, even if it has a dual nature between being an element of it in certain cases or independent of it in other cases.

due to the tremendous development in the means of modern technology, the right to the image has become subject to many serious attacks that would affect the dignity of the person, which has become imperative to protect it from the criminal and civil point of view, even though the Algerian legislator did not specify a specific provision for the protection of the right to the image, but rather approved its criminal protection within the protection of the right.

in private life, as for a civilian, he has guaranteed his protection within the protection of personal rights in general.
