The study aims to find out the role of information technology in education during the lockdown caused by COVID-19.
the researcher used a structured questionnaire for data collection, a sample population of 66 teachers in Ramallah, examining the readiness of schools and homes in terms of technology to resume the education process.
the researcher used a structured questionnaire for data collection, SPSS is used for data analysis and doing the statistical tests in order to get study results.
then studying the effect of some characteristics like school type, age, sex.
the study found that it has a major role in the education process through the COVID-19 pandemic especially under lockdown and students cannot reach their schools, but in Palestine, public schools suffer a lot from the non-existence of basic technological infrastructure to achieve this purpose, it also found that some demographic characteristics statistically affect the role of it in education.
