قياس و تحليل أثر سعر النفط على الانفاق العام في الجزائر للفترة (1970-2019)‎

Abstract EN

This research paper aims to study and analyze the reality of public spending in Algeria in light of the fluctuations in oil prices during the period (1970-2019), as well as to try to measure the impact of oil prices on public spending during the same period based on annual data and using vector autoregressive model.

The study found that public spending in Algeria has been constantly increasing for most of the study period, and concluded that there is no cointegration between oil prices and public spending, and that the 1% rise in oil prices leads to a 0, 13% increase in public spending in the short-term.
