Abstract EN

This study tends to reveal how translation module is invested in foreign language classes in Algeria.

Moreover, it analyses and discusses the content of translation module in these classes which targets the improvement of foreign languages teaching/learning competences through exploring the adopted methods and strategies to teach FL in Algerian universities.

The study also suggests to use of literary translation activities in foreign languages classes after the examination of the designed syllabus to these classes and the coherence of the translation module with it and wih It’s pedagogical goals.

therefore, the study will highlight the importance of teaching literary translation in developing FL students’knowledge about the studied language and it’s culture.

The couple that is linked since the beginning of history and manifests in literature as they never do in other fields of art.
