In order to answer all these questions, the researcher has used in his study the historical approach as it is relevant to the nature of the research.

the researcher has also conducted personal interviews with the pioneers of the Iraqi beach volleyball, and electronic correspondence with the pioneers of the sport in the Arab countries.

The second chapter deals with the history of the game by looking for the origin of this game and the initial beginnings of its practice.

In the third chapter, the researcher has discussed the nature of the game, and touching upon the archiving of international, Arab and local committees of the game.

The fourth chapter deals with official and Olympic international participations, in addition to the Arab and local championships of the game.

The most important results that the researcher comes up with establish the fact that the game was originally derived from the game of volleyball.
