among the most important findings are that developed areas and the built-up mass occupy the largest area of the land use map for the year 2019, accounting for 42.8 percent of the sector's area, and agricultural lands have experienced a noticeable decrease of 29.1 percent from 1975 to 2030, and agricultural lands are likely to disappear within one hundred years.

it is desirable to conserve the remaining areas.

using the minimal per capita share, as well as smart cities, to minimize the intensity of usage, then resolving the restrictions and challenges, seizing opportunities, and embracing urban agriculture to compensate for the lack of agricultural land.

in addition, to make the best use of land, a policy of urban renewal and urban filling (intensification of usage) within residential neighborhoods should be implemented.
