Abstract EN

This article aims to study and investigate the manuscript “On Tajweed of the Holy Qur’an” by Mohammed ben Hakam ba Qashir (D 829AH).

This manuscript is one of the important works in Tajweed and the Qur’anic readings, as well as Abi Amro Albasri’s readings.

The article includes an introduction, two sections and a conclusion.

In the first section, I addressed the author’s life, the book and the author’s approach.

In the second section, I investigated the text of the manuscript, editing it as desired by the author.

In the conclusion, I provided the study’s findings and recommendations as follows: First, Imam Mohammed ben Hakam ba Qashir is one of readings’ scientists, in addition to being a jurist.

Second, ba Qashir is one of scientist families, having great efforts in different sciences such as jurisprudence, readings, etc.

Third, the references the author referred to varied such as Ibn Aljazri’s “Taqrib Alnashr” and Sijwandi’s “Ilal Alwaquf”, etc.
