Abstract EN
This research focuses on the study of the origion of tuberculosis and its present distribution in the world.
It also studies the variables, which have affected the changes of the spatial distribution of the disease through time.
From this research one can conclude that the two aspects which have influenced the geography of tuberculosis the most are the changes in social and economic factors which have occurred throughout the world.
Other factors such as AIDS and M.
tuberculosis resistance to drug and population mobility are also important in the present epidemic of tuberculosis.
The distribution of the disease is not even within an area as the endemicity of disease depends, beside poverty and crowd ness, on other factors such as family size, diet, hygiene and type of housing.
This means that this research can be considered a base for other researches need to be conducted on local and regional scale.
