Abstract EN

This study aimed to clarify the obstacles which faced the Libyan Agriculture Bank to use AL- Salam formula.

It relied on analyzing five variables that are (bank dependency, lack of Banking awareness, the bank’s readiness to switch to other formats, the market’s readiness to deal in AL- Salam financing formula, and the degree of risk).This study followed the descriptive and analytical approach in studying the variables.

In order to collect data, the study depended on the distribution of the questionnaire forms on 200 respondents which is followed Likert scale in purpose of analyzing them.

This study used Statistical Packages for Statistical Sciences (SPSS) in order to analyze the questionnaire.

The study concluded that all the studied variables represent obstacles for the bank in proposing it to be dealt in the form of AL- Salam.

The relative importance of these obstacles varied, as the dependency of the bank was at the forefront of these obstacles and the lack of banking awareness and then weakness The bank’s readiness to convert to implement AL- Salam formula, followed by poor market readiness, and at the end of which was the high risk that prevented the bank’s implementation for AL- Salam Sale formula.
