Abstract EN

This research tackles the morphological issues in Lisan al-Arab Dictionary, discusses its practical terms, and deals with examples of its morphological formulas classified in the morphology books.

The research aimed at identifying selections of practical morphological issues and the opinions of the morphologists therein, and trying to link the linguistic concept of the morphological term with its applied aspect, in addition to understanding the doctrine of Ibn Manzur in morphological composition when dealing with the meaning of the linguistic term.

The importance of this research lies in its clarification of the relationship between the terminologies included in the dictionary, and the issues that were cited in its chapter.

In this research the descriptive and analytical method was used to reach the rooting of the morphological issues
