Abstract EN

The study of citizenship values in times of crisis was an ambition prompted by a set of observations and events that imposed themselves.

The main objective of this study is to identify the existence of the values of citizenship of the Qatari citizen at the time of the blockade and the extent to which he represents these values.

The study divided values into four main dimensions: social, political, economic and cultural.

They are main dimensions that clarify the values of citizenship and facilitate the process of transition from the theoretical level to the experimental level.

The study based on the quantitative method with descriptive approach.

The sample size was (324).

The data collection tool was a questionnaire.

Percentages, statistical frequencies, the mean and standard deviation were used to measure the trend of the sample.

The results of the study shows that, socially, increasing mutual solidarity and internal support in the Qatari society between citizens and residents.

On the one hand, and between them and the leadership on the other hand.

Politically, the values of citizenship were clearly represented in many political issues, taking into account the sensitivity of some issues and the situation in the time of crisis.

Economically, the existence of citizenship values was clear, so the sample did not show reluctance to change some usual behaviors in line with the necessities of the crisis.

Culturally, citizenship was strongly present, most notably the pride in the cultural heritage of the State of Qatar.

In general, the values of citizenship in its various dimensions were present among the Qatari citizen at the time of the crisis
