Abstract EN

The research aimed at establish a lisft of training needs and competency-based assessment skills and defining the degree of availability of Islamic education teachers, the degree of training needs, the correlation between teachers ' practice and the level of training needs, and the differences between the averages of estimating the degree of training needs in light of the research variables.

A descriptive approach was used to achieve this.

The research sample consisted of (47) teachers.

The findings of the research indicated the availability of competency-based assess- ment skills.

There were (3) skills with high degree, (33) skills with average degree.

The degree of need was (26) high skill de- gree, and (12) average skills.

The results of the research also in- dicated that there are QatiQically significant differences between the averages of estimating the degree oftraining needs according to the different educational Stage, while there are no differences according to the scientific qualification, educational experience, and training courses (professional development).
