Abstract EN

The aim of this Research was to Qudy the effect of using the (SCAMPER) Strategy on developing of mathemat- ical proficiency among the squdents of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University in the Faculty of Education in Dilam-Mathe- matics Department fifth level.

The Research used the design of one group.

The sample consisted of (22) Studends- Section (129) from Mathematics Department for the second semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH, and used the Mathematical Pro- ficiency test.

To test the validity of the hypotheses, the Tesq-t was used.

The results showed that there were Statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the group in favor of the post-ap- plication of the mathematics proficiency test and that Generat- ing Mathematical Ideas (SCAMPER) Mentally Strategy was effective in developing the Mathematical Proficiency of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University Students.

The research recom- mended conducting similar research in other universities in an integrated manner between mathematics and science.
