Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the reality of Egyptian applied technology schools to provide the necessary mechanisms for developing technical secondary education in their light.

The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, which is based on identifying the real- ity, objectives, advantages, curricula, training programs and admission requirements for Egyptian applied technology schools, and the limits of the study were limited to Industrial technical secondary education schools with their various technical specializations, and The results of the study reached the importance of applied technology schools in tech- nical secondary education, then the study presented a set of mechanisms necessary to develop technical secondary education in light of the ex- perience of Egyptian applied technology schools, the most important of which are mechanisms related to (legislation and laws - educational policy - curricula - teaching and training programs - teachers Students - school administration - partnership of educational institutions for tech- nical secondary education with community institutions).

In light of the findings, the study recommends the following: Introducing the latest technological systems in technical secondary education to achieve development in society.

Disseminate the experience of the company-based applied technology schools system with private and public sector companies and factories in accordance with the latest international systems.

Expanding the establishment of modern specializations in technical secondary schools in line with the requirements of the Fourth Indus- trial Revolution and the needs of the labor market.

Building a secondary technical educational system that depends on economic institutions and companies (agricultural, industrial, com- mercial, ...

and others) to achieve development in society.

Benefiting from the technical expertise of institutions, factories and companies in enhancing the teaching and training process for stu- dents of technical secondary schools.
