In this paper, we implement a relatively new numerical technique, the modified picard method for solving linear and nonlinear systems of ordinary differential equations of first order for initial value problems(IVP).
In this method, the solution takes the form of a convergent power series with easily computable components.
a computer program is used "MATLAB6.0" to introduce a code which generates the series.
and some examples were presented to show the efficiency of the new method as well as a numericalcomparison between the new method and Runge-Kutta, Old Picard, adomain decomposition, for linear and non-linear systems of ordinary differential equations.
