The study aimed to find out the rhetoric’s opinions on the exception, through the method of minors, which is represented in determining the meaning in the mind of the recipient after confining and defining it.

The study deals with affirmation of praise in a manner similar to slander, and affirmation of defamation in a manner similar to praise, is the construction of an illusory moral judgment other than the intended purpose, then exclusion from it.

1- The method of exception is the strongest way in the method of minors, just as the method of exception is found in the science of badi 'by praising something like slandering and reversing it.
