Abstract EN

The current research aimed to determine the religious needs of first-year secondary students within the religious courses.

the research used the descriptive analytical approach through the process of collecting and identifying data and trying to interpret it to reach results about the religious needs of students in the religious courses.

the research group consisted of : high school students who studied the course at the boys Bani-Ghaleb preparatory secondary institute, al-Azhar governorate, Assiut governorate, who numbered 60 students, and teachers and mentors of Arabic and Islamic studies for the first secondary grade, who numbered 20 teachers and mentors.

to achieve the goal of the research, a list of appropriate religious needs for first-year secondary students was prepared within the religious courses, and the research reached 25 religious needs suitable for first-year secondary students within the religious courses.

at the end of the research, a set of recommendations and suggestions related to the results of the research were presented.
