Abstract EN

This study aimed to diagnose the reality of the practice of administrative leaders in Saudi universities for distributed leadership and to determine the requirements for developing the performance of administrative leaders in Saudi universities and to build up a proposed recommendations to develop the administrative performance of leaders in support deans in Saudi universities in light of the distributed leadership.to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers were used descriptive approach to detection the reality of the practice of leadership distributed by the administrative leaders in the deans supporting Saudi universities.

the researcher used questionnaire to collect data on the practice of leadership distributed by the administrative leaders and administrative staff in Saudi universities.

the target study community were, which consists of administrative and administrative leaders with support deanship in the three Saudi public universities (king Saud university, king Abdul-Aziz university, Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal university), while the sample of the study amounted to (378) administrative staff and (235) administrative leaders with support deanship.

the study found several findings outlined by : the reality of the management leadership's practice of distributed leadership regarding the message and vision of Saudi universities from the point of view of the administrators came to a low degree, which is the low approval of the study members that the administrative leader (limits the problems faced by the administrative staff to avoid when preparing the future plan).
