The current National Program for Social Housing is one of the mechanisms for combating poverty in its comprehensive sense and improving the living conditions of low-income people, within the framework of Egypt's 2030 vision for sustainable development.

October Gardens is the leading intensive Egyptian city in implementing the planned units of the social housing projects.

One of the pioneering applications in this context is the 16008 units as a social housing project known as Dahshour.

The study aims to present a number of development proposals based on the opinions and needs of the beneficiaries of social housing in Dahshour to improve the quality of the public services provided and enhance the sustainability of the project.

The study concluded that enhancing the sustainability of the Dahshour Social Housing Project requires more response to the needs of those who are targeted by the project and particularly those who already live in.

The effective implementation of the sustainable development concept in social housing projects field needs to develop an integrated system for the sustainability of social housing projects that meets the current and future needs of the beneficiaries.

It also requires continuous and effective coordination between many relevant public administration service bodies.
