Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to evaluate the role of NGOs in protecting women from domestic violence.

this is due to the importance of the role played by NGOs in caring for a large number of battered women and providing them with many services, whether they are health, rehabilitation, preventive or other important services.

in addition, we also find the importance of the role of NGOs in creating a normal family atmosphere between the woman, the husband and the children, through continuous awareness of the importance of protecting women from any violence that befalls them.

accordingly, a questionnaire was applied to the workers of the center for hosting and protection of women in Fayoum governorate, in addition to applying a questionnaire to the beneficiaries of the center's services.

entitled "a proposed perception of the role of NGOs in protecting women from domestic violence", which consists of three sub-dimensions : the role of NGOs in providing protection services for domestically abused women-the role of NGOs in providing rehabilitation and empowerment services for abused women in the family-the role of NGOs in providing prevention programs for domestically abused women.

these dimensions consist of (28) phrases to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the quantitative and qualitative approach in analyzing and interpreting the results of the research.
