Abstract AR

This study is implemented to explore the impact of environmental stress on psychologically disordered individuals, residents and out-patients of psychological health hospitals; identifying as well the impact of psychopathy on these people and their daily life.

The study also drives at identifying the various environmental stresses including the social and the psychological stress and their resources, identifying during this investigation the concept of stress, psychological disorders, schizophrenia, its reasons, symptoms, diagnosis, prevalence and the explanatory theories of this disease and of environmental or psychological stresses.

Researchers have used in this study the descriptive-comparative method, counting as well on scale of psychological state for those psychologically disordered who are residents or out-patients of psychological health hospitals; in addition to motivational interview with patients since this study is administered on patients in Abassyia Physiological Health Hospital.

The study sample consists of (60) residents and out-patients diagnosed of being psychological disordered, divided equally into (30 males and 30 females).

The most important study results are crystallized in the following: There is a significant correlation between environmental stress and thinking in those psychologically disordered from residents and out-patients of the hospital.

There is a significant correlation between environmental stress and communication with others in those psychologically disordered from residents and out-patients of the hospital.

There is a significant correlation between environmental stress and personal care and daily life in those psychologically disordered from residents and out-patients of the hospital.

The most important study recommendations are: the necessity for concerning with the habilitating side of the schizophrenia patient, specifically, after going out of the hospital.

The necessity for enlightening the patient's family with his/her condition and how to deal with him/her and how to present him/her sufficient assistance and support.
