The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the proposed program to teach the critical listening in the light of the linguistic communication in developing critical listening skills for the students of Faculty of Education and the sample of the study includes eighty students both males and females were divided into two groups, a control group and the experimental group by forty students per group, and the sample of the study was from The Faculty of Education - fourth grade in Minia University, and the study tools and educational materials were a test in the critical listening for the Faculty of Education students and a proposed program based on the entrance of linguistic communication, the teacher's guide, and the student’s guide, and the study reached the effectiveness of a proposed program in developing the critical listening Skills for the faculty of Education students, where the experimental group students excelled over the control group students in the critical listening skills post-test as a whole ,as well as the experimental group students excelled over the control group students in each of the nine skills for the critical listening test that includes: 1- Distinguish between the main ideas and sub-ideas.

2- Identifying the relations between sentences.

3- Distinguishing between facts and opinions.

4- Determining relevant and non-relevant.

5- To what extent the results are related to the introductions.

6- The success of the speaker in the presentation of the ideas.

7- The Strength of the used reasoning and evidences.

8- Highlighting the strengths and weaknesses.

9- Judging on the audible in the light of past experiences
