Translation is a tributary of the Arab Islamic civilization in Al-andalus The Islamic civilization in Al andalus depended on the foundations of the ancient heritage, which was translated into Arabic during the third and fourth centuries AH, the ninth and tenth centuries AD,in this field, this issue was addressed in terms of the factors that led to the prosperity of civilizationin andalusia, including the interest in collection and translation books, where the translation in andalus reached its apogee during the reign of both the Caliphs Abd alRahman III and his son Al-Hakam Al-Mustansir.the most important translation was the translation of the medical book" Dioscuredas" by a committee of Andalusian scientists headed by the Byzantine scholar "Nikola" and the book of Paulus Orosius, in history.

translation has had a great impact on the flourishing of intellectual and scientific life, which enriched the Islamic civilization.
