Abstract EN

This study seeks to achieve one main objective that is, to identify to social and economic changes that took place over Aleppo city during war.

The theoretical framework is based on the idea of social responsibility of the state.This study depends on double methodology seeking to gather between quantitative and qualitative methods, in respect to quantitative methodology, the researcher depends on social survey by sample on which a questionnaire has been designed translating sub questions of the present study into measurable indicators.

The participants were 100 citizen from Aleppo city.

On the other hand, in respect to qualitative methodology, deep an interview has been designed and applied to 9 participants belonging to various social and economic levels.

It is concluded Aleppo city was the most Syrian city that has been a target for terrorists groupsthat left it was entire destruction and ruin.

Health, educational and residential buildings have been destructed.

In addition, job opportunities are badly affected along with essential services and safe have been affected badly as a result of the war.

These social and economic changes emerged because the state started to meet its social responsibility after liberation to bring life again to Aleppo as it was before the war.

As a result of the state role, many health, educational, residential and safe situations improved, moreover, factories and stores were reopened again.

The state tries to overcome economic siege that still effects on the lack of fuel, food and bread.
