Arabic Abstract
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى استقصاء فاعلية برنامج إرشادي مستند الى نظرية العلاج العقلاني الانفعالي في خفض مستوى الكمالية و تنمية الذكاء الانفعالي لدى الطلبة الموهوبين أكاديميا في مدرسة الملك عبد الله الثاني للتميز في لواء قصبة الطفيلة، و قد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (36) طالبا و طالبة منهم (22) طالبا و (14) طالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية مقسمين إلى مجموعتين تجريبية و ضابطة، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام مقياس الكمالية و مقياس الذكاء الانفعالي، و أشارت نتائج الدراسة وجود مستوى متوسط من الكمالية والذكاء الانفعالي، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات أداء أفراد المجموعتين التجريبية و الضابطة على القياسين البعدي للكمالية والذكاء الانفعالي على الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية، وكانت الفروق لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وأظهرت أيضا عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين المتوسطات الحسابية لأداء المجموعة التجريبية على القياسين البعدي و التتبعي لمقياسي الكمالية و الذكاء الانفعالي، كما بينت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور و الإناث في المجموعة التجريبية على القياس البعدي لبعد التوقعات الوالدية كأحد أبعاد الكمالية، و بعد كفاءة الانطباع الإيجابي كأحد أبعاد الذكاء الانفعالي و لصالح الإناث، و عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا على بقية الأبعاد و الدرجة الكلية على مقياسي الكمالية و الذكاء الانفعالي.
English Abstract
The current study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a counseling program based on the theory of rational emotional therapy in reducing the level of perfectionism and developing emotional intelligence of the academically – gifted students at King Abdullah II School of Excellence in Tafila Kasbah district.
The sample consisted of (36) students, including (22) male, and (14) female students were selected in the intentional method and divided into two control and an experimental group.
To achieve the goals of the study, the perfectionism scale, and emotional intelligence scale were used.
The results of the study indicated a medium level of perfectionism and emotional intelligence, Moreover, the results showed statistically significant differences between the performance of the control and the experimental groups on the dimensional measures of perfectionism and emotional intelligence in terms of dimensions and total degree, and the differences were in favor of the experimental group, and also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the performance averages of the experimental group’s performance on the post and tracer measures of the two measures of perfectionism and emotional intelligence scales.
The results also showed that there are Statistically differences between males and females in the experimental group on the dimensional measurement of parental expectations as one of the dimensions of perfectionism, and the dimension of the efficiency of the positive impression as one of emotional intelligence dimension in favor of females, and there were no statistically differences on the rest of dimensions, and overall degree of the scales of perfectionism and emotional intelligence.
