Organizational success factors of data warehouse and their relationship with is strategy : a case study of Bank Al Etihad-Jordan

Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate organizational success factors of Data Warehouse and their relationship with IS strategy as applied to Bank Al Etihad – Jordan.

The sample of the study comprised all IT officials at Bank Al Etihad and all the branch’s managers.

A questionnaire was developed based upon previous studies to measure the study variables.

The study concluded that (IS Innovator) was the most perceived IS strategy among the sample of the study.

The sample of the study perceived that senior management support is the most considered Data Warehouse organizational success factor.

Moreover, the study demonstrated that there is a statistically significant relationship between DW organizational success factors and IS strategy of Bank Al Etihad-Jordan, as perceived by branch managers or IT employees of Bank Al Etihad-Jordan.

The study recommended enhancing the senior management support for using and developing IT/IS and Business Intelligence solutions in addition to other recommendations
