After the spread of (COVID-19) pandemic and its spread in the world, communities were forced to stay at home to keep themselves safe.

which made all sectors transform their work via the internet, including educational institutions.

al-Shatibi institute for the Qur’an and its sciences was among the institutes that transformed training-from a distance.

this study adopted the descriptive experimental approach, as it aimed to measure the effectiveness of teaching a course (electronic learning techniques)-from a distance-with a group of 112 new female teachers of the Qur’an, of different ages and nationalities.

two measurement tools were used (pre and post test) and the trainees' responses after each training session via the electronic wall and the performance tasks.

this study included a review of some of the challenges and difficulties that the trainees faced, such as the weak internet, and the time difference for some of the trainees due to their presence in different regions of the world.

the study came out with high and fruitful results that demonstrated the effectiveness of distance teaching.

these results were demonstrated through the post-test and the trainees' applications after each session.

the study recommended the need to use various synchronous and asynchronous methods and applications to ensure effective teaching and access to information for all.
