In this paper, we are trying to shed lights on the most prominent concepts and the perception of the western modernist thought and specifically from the perceptive of the global thinker Jurgan Habermas, who had dealt with the concept of the intellectual basis on the background and critical vision of innovation away from the illusion and utopia that was stuck on the concept.

in deed from Habermas vision the concept was adopted as an alternative to correct the modernity which he considers as a project has not been done yet ! ? in addition to that Habermas assume that the concept of the intellectual stems on the idea of dynamic communication and this is what we will try to submit in this article through the following elements : the intellectual elite at the thought of the Frankfurt school, the qualities of the intellectual at Habermas, the role of the intellectual in a mental communicative.
