Abstract EN

The problem of the spread of drugs of all kinds is one of the problems that have become a serious threat to the individual and societal levels in Iraq and the world.

This problem has appeared and exacerbated with the complexity of conditions and the increasing psychological pressure and economic burdens on the individual and the Iraqi society.

This current research aims to know the meaning of drug addiction, which is one of the aspects of behavioral deviation, and drug addiction can be similar to or apply to a large extent with what we say about alcohol consumption of all kinds, as the World Health Organization has defined drug addiction as a state of diabetesDiscontinuous and chronic, and it is a harmful condition for the individual or society, arising from the repeated consumption of alcohol or other drugs, so that the addict in it becomes in the stage of psychological and organic dependence.

Illegal contact with drugs in any form is cultivation, industry, trade or abuse is one of the most dangerous contemporary social phenomena that leave traces It is disastrous for the individual and for society in its religious basis, economic structure, social cohesion, and health and psychological strength.
