n the event that some acts and behaviors are considered as a crime in a society, the rules in response show retaliation with the name of punishment.

The death penalty and life sentence are considered as one of the most severe and violent types of punishment and punitivemeasures in the legal and criminal systems, the purpose of which are the perpetual exclusion of the perpetrator from society, and are often related to criminals who commit the most severe crimes and are in danger of being unpunished.

Denial of the lives of offenders has a long history in the history of human social life, and for all the different nations are based on their own time and place characteristics in response to violations of laws and regulations together with a number of behaviors that cause irregularities and disruptions.

It was also a penalty when criminal endangered the security of the country or when they plotted to kill their kings, their leaders and their elders.

The death penalty has been recorded in various ways, along with tumultuous torture, from the very beginning of the execution of punishment in the history of humanity to Middle Ages.

In fact, civilizations and governments in the early periods were driven by cultural and social poverty as well as the brutality they had against the slightest violations of the law, or those which, contrary to the will of the kings or the prohibition of commands.

And their commands were punishable by death and executions with brutal and outrageous methods and practices regardless of the dignity the perpetrators.

However, with the advancement of science and culture, and with an account of the status and human dignity for perpetrators, the brutal execution was diminished as far back as we move from those periods.
