Abstract EN

One of the characteristics of social development in every given society is the presence of women in various fields.

Comparing the presence of women in scientific societies before and after Mohammad’s Revelation (peace be upon him) indicates that Islam is committed to the participation of women, because according to the teachings of Islam, human is a truth that is manifested in both man and woman.

A woman is equal to a man in terms of dignity, personality and human dignity, and gender does not, in any way, interfere with her perfection and personality.

The active participation of women functional jurists in various fields, including the science of jurisprudence, is the result of giving due attention to the original teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic tradition (peace be upon him) in training women scholars and thinkers.

Using a descriptiveanalytical method, the present study has introduced prominent figures of women jurists such as A'isha bint Talhah, Hind Bint Al Muhallab, A'mra bint Abdul Rahman, Haf?a bint Sirin, Fatima bint Mundhar, Umm al-Darda al-?ughra, Fatima bint Ali bin Abi Talib, Zainab bint Ali bin Abi Talib, Muadhah bint Abdullah, A'isha bint Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqa?, Nā? ila bint al-Furāfi?a, Umm A'?im bint A'?im, Haf?a bint Abdul Rahman, Sakinah bint al Husayn In the period Tabi’un, and this study has expressed their scientific position and role in the formation and development of Islamic jurisprudence.

By comparing the ascending course of women jurists in this period, this study attempts to investigate the effect of practicing the correct religious teachings in the beginning of Islam.
