The novel entitled La femme au miroir by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt allowed the identification of a complex structure prompting an investigation of meaning.

Thus, the decryption of a nested writing highlights the mechanisms of the embedding.

In this sense, three women cohabit in the space of the novel and punctuate the narration in a random manner.

From Bruges to Vienna and from Vienna to Hollywood we discover the crossed fate of Anne, Hanna and Anny with three stories, through three different important periods of history, namely: the XVIth century, the XXth and the XXIst century in order to contemplate the reflection of the woman who is seen through time.

Comprendre l'art discursif d'un écrivain est une immersion prolongée dans son univers littéraire.

Le roman intitulé La femme au miroir d'Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt a permis le repérage d'une structure complexe suscitant une investigation de sens.

Ainsi, le décryptage d'une écriture emboîtée met en évidence les mécanismes de l'enchâssement.

Dans ce sens, trois femmes cohabitent dans l'espace du roman et rythment la narration de manière successive.

De Bruges à Vienne et de Vienne à Hollywood nous découvrons tour à tour le destin croisé d'Anne, Hanna et Anny.

Aussi, ce roman renferme trois périodes phares de l'Histoire à savoir: le XVIème siècle, le XXème et le XXIème siècle afin de contempler le reflet de la femme qui se mire à travers le temps.
