Abstract EN

The Arabic language in Algeria witnessed difficult circumstances that almost erased its features during the period of the French occupation, but thanks to its scholars who carried the banner of defending the homeland and the components of the nation, this language was preserved and its education was spread, and that was one of the most important weapons to defend identity and confront France and keep the Algerian people connected Arabism and wrapped around the teachings of the Islamic religion.

this research aims to highlight the merit of the association of Algerian Muslim scholars in reviving the Arabic language in Algeria during the period of the French occupation, and to highlight the most important efforts made to spread its education.
