Abstract EN

Algeria has known a number of good grammarians who the books of biographies profused by mentioning their exploits, among them Sheikh al-Tayeb al-Mahaji.

from this fact raises a problematic question : did not (Sheikh Tayyib Mahhaji) engage in grammatical debates ? to answer this question, we should have a first hypothesis based on identifying the second party in each of these debates, and a second hypothesis based on the grammatical topics in these debates.

this paper aims at extrapolating these debates, limiting them if possible, then classifying them as required by the art of debating, and then studying their subjects and examining their cognitive, scientific and educational results.
