This study seeks to highlight the challenges and mechanisms of forming a knowledge society, it has been found that a society' is ability to generate and spread and apply knowledge is essential for sustainable social growth, as the knowledge society has become the most important factor in social development and progress in various fields economic, social and political, it is strongly dependent on the innovations resulting from the level of education, and qualitative improvements in the field of media and communication, in the light of this results it was proposed a number of recommendations which aims to strengthen the mechanisms of knowledge society process in achieving social development.
