Abstract EN

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah exalt and send blessings to our prophet and all his family and companions.

To proceed: This research aims to study the issue of (divine pardon) according to the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah.

This was made by establishing that pardoning is one of the divine attributes that Allah can to do whenever He wants to whomever He wants, and that the attribute is affirmed in the Qur’ān and the Sunnah.

The research also mentioned important issues related to this attribute regarding al-Wa’d wal-Wa’īd (promise of reward and threat of punishment), since this attribute is preventative from inflicting the punishment for those monotheists that would deserve it.

I divided this study into an introduction that included the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, previous studies, and the research method.

The introduction, where I dealt with the impediments to implementing the threat of punishment in the light of the Qur’ān and the Sunnah.

The first chapter, which included a statement of the concept of divine pardon and its evidences from the Qur’ān and the Sunnah.

This was followed by the second chapter, which included the topic of pardoning the sinners.

The third chapter spoke about pardoning the infidels.

The research ended with a conclusion that included the most important results.

I ask Allah, the Almighty, to make people benefit from this research.
