Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the attitudes of Jordanian journalists towards Aljazeera Arabic news channel coverage of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip (2014).

To achieve this goal, this survey study used questionnaire to collect the information from a sample of 150 journalists from different Jordanian media institutions.

The study concluded to these following main results:(1) 74% of respondents see that Aljazeera Arabic news channel coverage of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip (2014) was a highly professional, (2) 27% of the sample see that Aljazeera Arabic news channel coverage of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip (2014) was different from coverage of other news channels; the reason is that Aljazeera Arabic news channel has introduced analyses and news programs, and documentaries about the aggression and Gaza strip, (3) During the coverage, Aljazeera Arabic news channel was an open platform to the Palestinians and their resistance of aggression, unlike some of other news channels.

The channel, also, granted to the Israeli side a space; that added much of professional to the coverage.
