Abstract EN

This research aims at introducing a majestic character of history; a character from the first generation of the honorable companions of the prophet; he is the famous Custodian of the Holy Kaaba: Shaybah bin Othman, to which the (Shaibi family) belongs, who now holds the key of Kaaba, and whose fame was gained with the blessing of their grandfather; while he remained unknown in history; that is why This research highlights the biography of this prophet's companion in Pre-Islamic era as well as Islam; and includes a collection, and critical study of his Hadith narrations.

The important of this study is that the narrations of Shaybah bin Othman, are all weak except for one authentic hadith.

It is a result of little use, but its value shows that it would not have been reached without the research by this critical study of his hadiths, Accordingly, this study provides for the scholars to re-study these hadiths again and ciriticize them.
