The study aimed to identify the degree to which male and female secondary Arabic language teachers employ lesson orientation skills and methods from their point of view.

It also aimed to identify the difficulties of implementing orientation methods.

To achieve these goals, the study used the descriptive survey method, distributing a questionnaire to collect data.

The research sample consisted of 82 male and female secondary Arabic language teachers.

The results showed that the degree in which teachers employed their orientation skills for the lessons was "often" as a whole and in each domain, and often employed orientation methods as well.

The study also found that the order in which orientation lesson skills domains were employed was as follows: First, skills related to psychological and emotional orientation; then, skills related to managing and controlling the classroom environment; then those related to learning knowledge, experiences, and skills.

Moreover, the results showed how frequently teachers used various lesson orientation subskills and submethods, as well as the skills and methods most often employed.

In light of these results, the researcher presents practical recommendations and research suggestions.
