Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on the attitude of the Khalifa Yazid bin Mu'awiya (680-684 AD/ 60- 64 AH) toward the people in Hijaz.

It also aimed to disclose the influential forces that affected Yazid bin Mu'awiya’s attitude to-ward the people in Hijaz through the historical approach based on collecting historical narrations and analyzing them in order to reach a conclusion.

The results of this study showed that the attitude of Yazid bin Mu’awiya to-ward Hijaz people was influenced by a number of forces, such as the political opposition by the Hijazis, the lining of the Khalifa and his entourage, the workers and governors, and the tribal leadership
