In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful the term moderation is a feature of Islam and the Muslim Ummah, and the extent of its legitimacy with its presence in the ancient world.

in carrying out the legal duty to preserve, communicate and defend religion, i present this modest study on the concept of moderation from its original sources, in order to protect this term from deviation from it to be a servant of secularism and liberalism, and from this standpoint the research came in the introduction, five chapters and conclusion as for the introduction, it deals with the importance of the topic, the research methodology and its plan.

then, through its chapters, i dealt with the concept of moderation in the language and the noble Qur'an, the Sunnah of the prophet, the term Islamic scholars, and Islamic moderation in the western concept and it became clear through the tour in the original sources several results, including : that the term mediation is a legal term and has not been distanced in its meaning from the linguistic meaning, and the interpretation of moderation in what is mentioned in the language and sharia is rejected in terms of legitimacy and scientific methodology.

it was also decided in the results also that moderation is not partial in religion, but rather is a method of justice and straight path that encompasses the areas of life, and that ruling on a matter of moderation and moderation is decided by Islamic scholars only.

also, Islamic moderation is the path of salvation and sovereignty again for the Islamic nation if it is well understood and applied in reality.
