Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight how to use the foundations of psychology, its theories, and some of its branches and fields, in human resources' professional development practices.

The starting point of this study is that investment in human capital is currently considered as an engine and a decisive factor in achieving growth and strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises.

The study revealed that the practices and activities of developing professional competencies for human resources should not be circumstantial, and not be limited to defects or shortcomings only, but must be continuous and renewed.

It also shall be according to a future view, to keep pace with the transformations and developments that characterize the activity climate of institutions and working human resources.

Moreover, it shall be based on the maximum and effective use of the principles and applications of various sciences, including psychology, with its theories and principles, and its branches and fields.
