The current study aims to verify the factorial structure of the Big Five Test for adolescents, which was developed by Barbaranelli et all 2003.

The test was applied to a sample of (253) students from Daoud Mohamed High School in Tlemcen, and the results of the exploratory factor analysis revealed that the factorial structure of the test is five dimensional, and largely agrees with the five major factors assumed to measure personality (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness).

Also, all test items were saturated with the factors that they are supposed to measure.

The validity and reliability of the test scores were also verified, so that the study showed good consistency coefficients for the test, using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and a level of validity associated with an acceptable test that was demonstrated through its association with the test of the five major factors of personality for adults by Costa and McCree 1992.
