Abstract EN

The rapid, sudden, and unplanned transformation of the corporate world on teleworking has resulted in unprecedented changes that came up with numerous benefits and challenges as well for the employees.

in line with these facts, the current research aims to explore the pros and cons that teleworking has implied on the employee population amid covid-19.

in this vein, the study has implied a quantitative research design to achieve the objectives of the study.

a convenient sampling design was used for sample selection where those who were at the proximal distance were selected for the data collection.

the sample size was 60 which was gender exclusive and included employees who were currently employed and operating through teleworking.

the results of the study revealed that teleworking has positively impacted the employees’ performance amid covid-19.

many have revealed that work flexibility has increased with teleworking and this has reduced their job stress.

contrarily, it was also found that teleworking has negatively impacted the employees’ mental health, and the main reason behind this was found to be work-life conflict.

on the whole, it was found that the sample of the study was not the true representative of the targeted population.

to enhance the reliability and validity of the results of the study random sampling was suggested and a large sample size.
