Abstract EN

This research paper aims at revealing the role and contribution of the Social media sites "Facebook" to the spread of violence within the school environment.

It also studies how the child is affected by the contents that are transmitted through Facebook pages or publications such as characters and heroes of movies, horror and action movies, as well as animations that broadcast messages bearing violence as well as through chats and comments.

This is what increases instances of anger and violence in the school environment and worsens the situation.

In the theoretical part of this study, we trace previous conceptual studies and theories that explain this phenomenon.

In this study, we followed the descriptive approach and we used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data.
