Abstract EN

The ancient critics were interested in the process of poetic creativity, as they worked on studying it, understanding and revealing its essence and secrets.

Each one presented analysis and interpretations according to the texts he interviewed.

However, "Ibn Rushd" studied it through "Summarizing the Book of Poetry".

He discussed the texts of the first teacher and tried to apply his view to Arabic poetry.

Thus, Critical perceptions influenced by Aristotelian thought were emerged.

The present study aims to reveal these perceptions, and in Ibn Roshd approach, he has reached various foundations and mechanisms that contribute to achieving poetic creativity, including: talent, imagination, simulation, and the mind.
