This research examines the difference of the imams of the hadith in identifying Sheikh of Bashir bin Salman, who narrated on the authority of Tariq bin Shihab: Is he ‘Sayyar’ Abu Al-Hakam, the trustworthy authority narrator, as stated by Bukhari and Muslim, and who followed them - or is he ‘Sayyar’ Abu Hamza, the unknown narrator, as said by Ahmed bin Hanbal and Ibn Maeen and who followed them? Therefore, according to the first opinion, the Hadiths of transmission chain are authentic, and according to the second opinion, they are doubtful.

This research was to show the correct and proponderant opinion from them, relying on the inductive analytical approach to reach the results, and its conclusion: that Ahmed bin Hanbal opinion is the correct one on this issue, and that the first to indicate the difference of imams in this issue is Imam Al-Daqutni, who recommended studying the narrators who are suspicious, as well as the difference among the imams, and attention to this aspect in terms of investigation, research, examination and authorship.
