Abstract EN

The current research included four chapters, which dealt in the first chapter with the research problem, its importance and the need for it.

as for the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework in two sections, the first included a philosophical presentation of eclecticism, and the second topic dealt with eclecticism in art, while the third chapter contained research procedures that included the research community, its sample, tools and method, and then the analysis of the sample, which amounted to (4) paintings.

the fourth chapter contains the results of the research including (the eclecticism has given contemporary American art the character of diversity and reproduction to new forms through the cross-fertilization of selection and technology.
