Cultural heritage, with all its cultural properties and other popular heritages, is a reflection of the history of any society and its identity.

Its preservation helps rebuild divided societies and restore its identity linking its past to its present and its future in the face of the effects of globalization that has almost destroyed the privacy of peoples.

To this end, Algeria has ratified the various international conventions for the protection of cultural heritage of all kinds in an attempt to combine its national efforts, mainly represented in Law No.

Le patrimoine culturel, avec tout ce qu'il contient de biens culturels et autres héritages populaires, est le reflet de l'histoire et de l'identité de toute société, sa préservation aide à reconstruire des sociétés divisées, à restaurer leur identité et à relier leur passé à leur présent et à leur avenir, face aux effets de la mondialisation qui presque élimine les spécificités des peuples.

Pour cette raison, l'Algérie a ratifié diverses conventions internationales pour la protection du patrimoine culturel sous toutes ses formes, dans une démarche pour joindre ses efforts nationaux, représentés principalement dans la loi n° 98-04 relative au patrimoine culturel, aux efforts internationaux pour préserver le Patrimoine culturel algérien.
